How do I protect my children from online threats using this software ?
This software allows you to restrict access to Internet and to specific applications, preventing your children from viewing inappropriate content whenever you are not around.
To configure the Parental Control, follow these steps:
• Create limited (standard) Windows user accounts for your children to use.
• Make sure you are logged on to the computer with an administrator account. Only users with administrative rights on the system (system administrators) can access and configure Parental Control
• Configure Parental Control for the Windows user accounts your children use
• Open the Bitdefender window
• Click the MyBitdefender button at the top of the window and select Parental Control from the drop-down menu or open https://parentalcontrol.orange.eg
• The Parental Control dashboard will open in a new window. This is where you can check and configure the Parental Control settings.
• Click Add child on the left-side menu.
• Enter the name and age of the child in the Profile tab. Setting the age of the child will automatically load settings considered appropriate for that age category, based on child development standards.
• Check your children's activities and change the Parental Control settings using https://parentalcontrol.orange.eg from any computer or mobile device connected to the Internet.
How many free keys am I entitled to?
For Orange DSL subscribers, you are entitled for one free key and if you are Orange DSL Plus subscriber, you are entitled for three free keys. Keys are valid as long as you are subscribed; you will just need to renew it/them annually for free by acquiring new key(s).
Can I get the free key and the software client from any internet connection?
No, you can only get the key and the software client from your Orange DSL internet connection.

Will DSL Parental Control expire?
• DSL Parental Control will expire after one year period.
• You will be prompted to renew DSL Parental Control one month before it expires.
• The renewal will be for free as long as you are a Orange DSL subscriber.
• The renewal of the extra purchased keys will be for the same discounted price.
If I renew my Parental Control in the beginning of the grace period will this period be added to my new one?
No, this period will expire automatically and you will start using the new one.
Can I use Parental Control anywhere?
You will always be protected anywhere from any inappropriate material. However, software updates will only be downloaded from Orange DSL connection.
I forgot my key(s), how can I access it/them?

If I cancel my Orange connection, will I still be able to use my Parental Control?
No, you will not be able to use your DSL Parental Control anymore.

• For Orange DSL subscribers, you are entitled for one free key and if you are DSL Plus subscriber, you are entitled for three free keys. Keys are valid as long as you are subscribed; you will just need to renew it/them annually for free by acquiring new key(s).
• You can download the software client and generate the key(s) only from your Orange DSL connection.
• With Parental Control you can be protected and protect your kids all the time. However, we advice that friendly discussion is the best solution before blocking. The software client updates will only be downloaded from Orange DSL connection.
• Key(s) is/are to be used only on one pc and not to be shared on more than one pc. If sharing occurs key(s) will be blocked on all PCs.
• You can always pay for each extra PC that you will need to protect. You will be prompted to renew your key one month before it expires, whenever you do so the remaining period of the year will expire automatically and you will start using the new one.
• In case you cancelled your Orange DSL connection, you won’t be able to use DSL Parental Control anymore. The money you paid for protecting any extra PC is non-refundable.
